Youth Point System

High Show Points Youth Award

1 point per class placement

(Example: if a show has five placements per class, you would get 5 points for 1st place, 4 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 2 for 4th, 1 for 5th. If a show places to 10th, you would get 10 points for 1st place, 9 for 2nd, etc.)

5 points for each show entered.

This category has 3 placings at year end.

High Point Overall Participation

25 points:  Each club endorsed horse related seminar, clinic, demonstration, expo or workshop attended or given.

10 points:  Each Utah Foxtrotting Horse Association Trail ride.

25 points:  Each Parade Entered in

5 points:  Each Youth Group or UFTHA meeting attended

5 points:  Each NATRC endorsed competitive ride

1 point:  Each placement in NATRC Trail Ride

This category has 3 placings at year end.

High Mileage Award

1 point per hour is earned for every hour you ride your horse with family, friends or on your own time.

This category has 3 placings at year end.

You may start accumulating points on January 1st. Ending date is November 30th.

Record points on log sheets provided as you earn them. Have parent or advisor sign them as you earn them They must be turned in Quarterly to your advisor to be counted.
