  Santaquin Meadows Trail Ride

June 14 & 15, 2008

Directions to the ride:

bulletTraveling south take the first Payson, Utah exit.
bulletDrive south to the first light about a mile away.
bulletTurn left at the light and drive less than a half mile to the top of the little hill where you turn right.
bulletYou are now on the Payson Loop road which will take you straight up the Canyon.  Drive past the turn off to Black Hawk a couple of miles or so and you will see the road to Sanatquin on the right hand side.
bulletTurn right there.
bulletFrom there is is very easy.  Just drive on this dirt road some three miles and you will descend to the meadows area below the Girl's home.  At the meadows, which is some 40 acres of treeless grassland, turn right onto the little dirt road at the bottom of the hill.
bulletFind a nice place to camp and hunker down.  No improved facilities, bring drinking water for yourself.  There is plenty of water for horses, and meadow to graze on.  If you bring dry feed get the certified weedfree type, possibly at Harwoods along the freeway in Springville, usually $6.00 per bail self service.  Have the correct cash!  Please call me at 801-571-3221 for questions you may have or just chat about the rides.

This ride has a limit of TEN RIDERS, so call me as soon as you have your schedule cleared to get on the list.
