4th Annual National Trail Ride

May 23-25, 2008

(Memorial Day Weekend)

You are invited to the Fourth Annual Utah Fox Trotting Horse Association's  (UFTHA) National Trail Ride. The ride will be near Utah's Kodachrome Basin State Park. Please arrive at the campsite mentioned below no later than 9:00 am on Friday, May 23rd.

Friday's Ride will depart promptly at 10:00 am. We will ride the Butch Cassidy Hideout Trail near Johnson Holes.

LOCATION

Our Campsite is located at Ott Corral. From Cannonville, Utah (on Hwy 12, east of Ruby's Inn), tavel south on Cottonwood Canyon Road to the intersection of Cottonwood Canyon Road and Kodachrome Basin State Park Road.

From this intersection, Ott Corral is approximately one mile further along Cottonwood Canyon Road. See map for details. The campsite is primitive.

WATER

The outfitter will provide potable water. There are creeks nearby for watering horses.

 

TOILETS

Port-a-potties are provided.

 

MEALS

Outfitter will provide Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Friday and Saturday.

 

COST

Adults: $100/day/person   Children: $50/day/person

SHARE A RIDE AND/OR A HORSE

Let's get as many riders as possible to the ride. Let Brent and Dennis know if you have room in your truck or trailer and are willing to share a ride. They will coordinate ride sharing. If you need a ride, also let them know if you can help cover the cost of fuel.
