SHARPS TO HOST MEMORIAL WEEKEND TRAIL RIDE

 

Take I 15 to the Holden exit (Holden is about 10 miles from Fillmore. From the North go on the exit road south to US 50 west toward Delta and turn right (west).  If you are coming from the South go through Holden and take a Left (West on 50).  Approximately 3.5 to 4 miles from there turn  North (it only goes north) onto Coats Road. There are some hay sheds near that turn.   Follow Coats Road to its end which will be McCornick Road.  Turn left or west and go to the first house which is on the south side of the road and is 1 mile from the turn.  That is the place. 

We have a large basement and 3 bathrooms one extra bedroom and several mattresses for anyone that wants to stay the weekend and stay indoors, or bring your own camps with you.  We can build a fire and share food.  I even have a shooting range for those who might like to do some shooting and a  horseshoe pit for any so inclined.  If you are coming from the Tooele area take highway 6 to Delta then 50 toward Holden and Fillmore. Approximately 15 miles from the cut off around Delta to 50 will be McCornick Road (there is sign at the road: Triple C Farms).  Turn left East (it only goes East) on McCornick Road and go to the last house on the south side of the road which is the place. It is approximately 3.5 miles.  

I'll have my cell phone on (hopefully) 801-910-5214 so call if confused.  Marylinn and I would love to have as many as would like to come.  We have to leave on Saturday night but will be back on Sunday evening  and any who would like to stay are very welcome. We have lots of Cedar hills to ride in and can go into pretty high country if we want to.
